Fatawa: transmutation of impurity (Najasah) |
 |
Question: In the name of Allah the Merciful the Beneficent
Peace, blessings and mercy of Allah be upon you.
It is known that with the transmutation of impurity it could become pure, as the Shari`ah scholars of Fiqh have given an example of the transmutation of the dog if it is transmuted in a salina. But, could this be applied on the pig, if any part of it is transmuted in a completely processed material? Jazakumu Allahu Khairan. Fatawa: Removing the impurity of a pig |
 |
Question: May the peace and mercy of Allah be upon you. My question is: if a knife was used to slaughter a pig and cut it up, and then it was cleaned with soap and water or wiped with a dry cloth, would that remove the impurity of the pig? Fatawa: Repeated involuntary release of impurity |
 |
Question : May the peace, mercy and blessing of Allah be upon you.
I have repeatedly experienced, as of late, involuntary impurity [incontinence] presenting as release of urine or sometimes, even involuntary release of seminal fluid with full awareness (not sleeping), meaning that I am sure it is not a nocturnal emission [wet dream], and it is the same with the urine. When I go to the bathroom to relieve myself, I discover this involuntary release of impurity. I used to take a bath every time, immediately after discovering it, but when it started to happen a lot, that got to be really difficult, since I might have to bathe twice a night. The last time it happened, I only changed my undergarments (as my own ijtihad) because the problem had become so hard on me from bathing so much. So, what is the solution? May Allah bless you and place this in the scale of good deeds to your credit. Note: http://amjaonline.com/en_f_details.php?fid=23177 |

Question : Assalamu alaikum,
Can you please explain the hadith that one should not use the toilet while facing or turning one's back to the toilet? Also, please explain the hadith reported by Ibn Umar that he saw the Prophet (pbuh) using the toilet in Hafsa's house with his back to the qiblah.

Fatawa: Position of Rasul Allah (saw) now (i.e. after his death) |
 |
Question: Respected Shaikh Some people say that Rasul Allah (saw) was just a human being except that he was a prophet. Others say that even after his death - he receives twice weekly reports on all of his Ummah and he gets sad when he hears of the mistakes of the Ummah and makes dua for them, and feels joy when he hears of their good deeds and praises Allah. He receives every Duroud and every Salaam sent by a Muslim and replies them from "Barzakh". They also say that Rasul Allah (saw) knows of all our concerns and problems and things that make us happy & sad. There is a 3rd group - who raise the level even further and do Milaad and put an empty chair for Rasul Allah etc. Can you please clarify as to what is the correct position of Rasul Allah and how are we supposed to understand Rasul Allah (saw)`s position. Also, if there are any books (in english) that clarify this point - can you pls mention the name of those books - insha Allah. - Jazak Allahu Khairan, - Wassalam Syed Ahmad Note: http://www.amjaonline.com/en_f_details.php?fid=22125 |

Fatawa: Enggan Memberi Jalan Laluan |
 |
Soalan:

Fatawa: Are Women Deemed "Unclean" During Menstruation |
 |
Question:
As-Salamu `alaykum! From where do you get the idea that menstruation is "unclean"? I do not find it in the Qur'an. I believe that the idea that women cannot pray or fast while menstruating is alien to Islam and came in as an innovation after the death of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Fatawa: Islamic View of Emotional Abuse in Marital Life |
 |
Question:
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Physical abuse in a relationship is widely known and condemned, but what about emotional abuse? I think it's equally damaging and even more hurting, yet we don't really talk much about it. How exactly do you define emotional abuse and what does Islam say about it? Jazakum Allah khayran.

Fatawa: Forcing Sister to Wear Hijab |
 |
Question:
Dear scholars, as-Salamu `alaykum. My question is concerned with my sister who is not wearing Hijab. I try to convince her to wear it but she refuses to do so.
As a Muslim brother what is my duty towards her according to the Qur’an and Sunnah? Should I impose the Hijab on her and what should I do to bring her to the right path? Jazakum Allah khayran.

Fatawa: Imposing a Code of Dress on a Wife |
 |
Question:
Dear scholars, as-Salamu `alaykum. My question is: Is it really the responsibility of the husband to decide what his wife wears? Is he to decide whether or not she wears a one piece coat or a long jacket and a long skirt (two pieces) as well as deciding on its color and style, along with the color and style of the hijab?
Can you give me an idea about the manner of dress of the Prophet's wives (peace and blessings be upon him) because as an active Muslim women in da'wah I feel that wearing the one piece coat will be perceived by non-Muslims like wearing a winter's coat. Am I right? Jazakum Allah khayran.
